Irish pair Rory McIlroy and Padraig Harrington made impressive starts to the St Jude Classic in Memphis as a penalty shot on the final hole cost Noh Seung-yul a share of the first round lead.
The South Korean was level with Americans Jeff Maggert and John Merrick on four under on the 18th tee, but a third-shot penalty cost him a closing bogey.
McIlroy and Harrington, meanwhile, both went round in two under par for a share of seventh place.
World Number Two McIlroy birdied the first, but two bogeys with one further gain on the front nine saw him turn in a level par 35.
The Northern Irishman had no blemishes on the way in, however, and birdies at the 13th and 15th saw him card a 68.
Three-time Major winner Harrington also did most his good work on the back nine, birdieing the third, 12th and 16th and dropping his only shot of the day at the fourth.
Former US PGA Champion Y E Yang was also two under par, but Swedes Robert Karlsson and Henrik Stenson both shot two over par 72s.
