
DANIEL ISLAND, S.C. -- Twenty-five members of the Nationwide Tour were awarded 2012 PGA TOUR cards today at the Nationwide Tour Championship at Daniel Island in Charleston, S.C. based on their season-ending finish on the money list.
Arkansas native Ken Duke claimed a two-shot victory over South Carolinian Scott Brown to win the Championship. Duke began the week 36th on the Nationwide Tour money list and vaulted to No. 7 with his win. Bounced from The 25 was Aussie James Nitties, who dropped three spots to No. 26 after finishing T35. Naval Academy graduate Billy Hurley was the 25th and final player to earn a card.
J.J. Killeen hung on to capture the money title with earnings of $414,273. The 30-year-old Texan becomes fully exempt on the PGA TOUR in 2012 and receives an invitation to THE PLAYERS Championship in May.
