Paraguay’s Fabrizio Zanotti ran away with the Stella Artois - Tigo Carlos Franco Invitational 2011 to complete a wire-to-wire victory on home soil.
No one in the field was able to keep up with him as proven by The European Tour Member won by six strokes in the Tour de las Americas event.
Starting the day early in order to complete the rain-delayed third round, the 28 year old fired a best-of-the-week 65 to extend his lead to nine.
A level par 71 in the afternoon secured his win at 14 under par.
For Zanotti, who joined The European Tour in 2008, this was his second career win on the Tour de las Americas. His previous TLA win came at the 2006 Mexico Open, an event co-sanctioned by the Challenge Tour.
